Tie rod cylinders DSBC series

These rod cylinders are pneumatic actuators for the execution of linear movements. These cylinders are standardised to ISO 15552 (ISO 6431, VDMA 24562).

The self-adjusting pneumatic end-position cushioning adapts itself optimally to the changing load and speed. In addition, the energy applied to the piston is transmitted to the moving parts via a piston rod. Depending on the piston diameter, thrusts from 50 KN to 6 bar are possible. Festo also offers a wide range of mounting accessories for any installation.

DFPD Series Quarter Turn Actuators

The DFPD series quarter-turn actuators are equipped with a rack and pinion combination with constant torque over the entire swing range. With these quarter-turn actuators, you can perfectly automate your butterfly and ball valves. The connection to the valves is standardised to ISO5211.

The robust aluminium cylinders are stable and easy to clean.  In addition, their reinforced anti-corrosion protection offers a long life and reduced wear.

Festo, a historical leader

Festo was founded in 1925 as a manufacturer of stationary woodworking machines. As early as 1929, Festo developed the first transportable crosscut saw.

At the end of the 1950s, Festo achieved its first success in the development of pneumatic solutions. The idea was originally to find automation solutions to improve the performance of woodworking machines. Subsequently, Festo continued to bring new solutions to the market that integrated electronic and electromechanical technologies.

Today, the company has registered 2000 patents worldwide and innovation is a central part of its development.
