Job description
Your role will involve selecting industrial valves and pneumatic equipment for the purpose of preparing quotations for our clients.
You will provide high-quality in-house technical support to our clients.
You will report to our product manager and work within a team of six people in the same office.
You will analyse our clients’ projects with a view to offering the appropriate equipment.
You will update the contracts between us and our clients, covering both technical and commercial aspects (prices, lead times, etc.).
You will liaise with suppliers to obtain the additional information needed to meet client requests for products within the ranges marketed by Méca-Fluid, or for more specialised items, though always within the field of valves and pneumatics.
Required profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or automation and control, or an industrial electromechanical engineer
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficiency in technical and commercial knowledge
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English (Dutch is an additional asset)
- Exemplary professional conduct: meticulous, organised, punctual, polite, independent and proactive
- Category B driving licence

Job description
The electromechanical engineer installs machinery in a workshop or on a construction site. They assemble pneumatic and electric actuators on valves in the workshop and install them on site, as well as (electro-)pneumatic control boxes and other various assemblies.
They also install new compressed air systems (compressors, dryers, pipework, etc.) and are required to carry out audits on them.
They carry out maintenance on compressors, industrial valves and pneumatic components:
- repairing or replacing faulty components,
- drafting technical intervention reports,
- installing more efficient systems to improve the performance and lifespan of the machinery.
In addition to this:
- reading plans, diagrams and technical manuals,
- the ability to complete service reports and draft correspondence,
- proficiency in handling documentation provided by the manufacturer,
- proficiency in IT and software such as Excel and Word as a minimum.
Required profile:
- You hold an A1 or A2 qualification in the electromechanical or automation engineering stream.
- You combine manual dexterity (speed and precision) with initiative, analytical skills, deductive reasoning and a methodical approach.
- You are adaptable and regularly update your knowledge.
- You are not put off by noise, irregular working hours (nights, weekends and possible on-call duty) or working in uncomfortable positions.
- You have an intuitive ability to organise your work with a focus on efficiency.
- A 6-month trial period (on monthly contracts) as a temporary worker does not put you off.
- You are proactive and ready to make a long-term commitment to a rapidly growing company.

Your role is straightforward: to ensure the smooth operation of the systems essential to our clients’ production facilities.
As a technician, you are a key player in our
clients’ industrial performance.
Your specific responsibilities include:
- Installation and commissioning-
Installation of compressed air systems (compressors, boosters, vacuum pumps, etc.)
- Installation of air treatment equipment (dryers, filters, tanks, etc.)
- Installation of new compressed air networks - Maintenance and troubleshooting
– Preventive and corrective maintenance of systems
– Diagnosis and resolution of faults
– Optimisation of equipment operation - Analysis and improvement
– Conducting audits
– Analysing energy consumption –
Monitoring compressed air quality - Technical
support- Drafting service reports-
Reading technical drawings and diagrams (pneumatic and electrical)
- Managing the service vehicle and spare parts stock
Your work has a direct impact: when you find the solution, you get the customer’s production equipment up and running
again.
Required profile:
- You are a technically minded, independent and solution-oriented individual.
- Training in electromechanics, industrial maintenance or equivalent
- Or significant experience in a similar role
- Confident in reading technical drawings and diagrams
- Proficiency in standard IT tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Analytical skills, logical thinking and a methodical approach
